Paint Gun Design

This was a project in Grad School at North Carolina State University, School of Design. I paid my way through 6.5 years of college restoring foreign sports cars. So, I was very aware of the need for a lighter weight automotive paint gun.

This design addressed that need by separating the gun into two elements, the gun itself, and a paint canister that attaches to your hip. I built the prototype pictured here.
